Drawing & painting

I draw models of architecture: buildings and objects which represent dreams sprung from the fantasy world of youth. A state to be in or perhaps be close to. Elements for a(n) (im)possible existance. The paintings often emerge from the need of a more abstract description of reality. Architecture reappears here as elements of drawings, buildings, or houses. Maybe I’m searching for something fundamental in my relationship to buildings; a husk or shell, a protection, a symbol for security, and at the same time a construction with endless possibilities.
